From the BBC:

The Football Association has confirmed another delay in the Wembley project after revealing all matches planned for 2006 will be moved to other venues.
Work on the stadium will not be completed in time for an England friendly in August and two Euro 2008 qualifiers in September and October.
The Community Shield on 13 August will be moved - probably to Cardiff.
An FA statement said: "It is clear that the construction of Wembley Stadium is significantly behind schedule."

Nowhere does it mention that this is a mosque. We don’t ask for special privileges, just the right to not have our religion offended. Is not Wembley a national stadium? Are Muslims not part of this nation? So why is Wembley Stadium not a mosque? This is a grave insult to Islam and we ask that our supporters write to the Football Association of England informing them that Wembley Stadium should be a mosque.

I ask the English F.A., why do you think you have the right to insult Islam like this? Do I also have the following rights?

1) The right to insult Bobby Moore?
2) The right to say that the ball did not cross the line in 1966?
3) The right to incite hatred against Nobby Stiles?
4) The right to insult Bobby Moore once again?

It seems quite clear that I would not be allowed to do this, which proves that the new Wembley Stadium is just another opportunity to attack Islam under the rubric of football. Do they think we will be held responsible for any explosions which might occur if this plan goes ahead? No, it will be out of our hands.

However, we are reasonable and we accept that the new National Mosque at Wembley may also have some sports facilities if feasible, inshaAllah.
